If you can get outside into the ocean, which has been a pretty tough feat lately, and you can troll or jig, the Striper are there. They also remain up against the sandbars in Little Egg Inlet, They aren't quite the big sizes they have been, but nice eating fish. Guys also picking up Stripers in the river w/ eel.
There were lots of birds playing today all over the ocean/inlet areas. Bluefish are starting to be caught in a little bit of a quantity lately also.
Weather looks to be okay for a few days and as long as the fish are here, now is the time to come on down.
