It was another scorcher this week with very few anglers out of the marina either in rental boats or their personal vessels. The greenheads had their best feed yet!
The few that got out this past week, caught lots of Fluke. We took some friends from RI out for a few nights and everyone had fish. The 126 area seems to still be the hot spot. Maria & Tom had over 30 fish combined with three keepers (see photo gallery), while John & Tim each had too many to count (but no keepers). Reports of some snapper blues in the bay yesterday also.
Crabbing seems to be okay; not hot but not lousy either. Lots of pregnant females and smaller ones. However the keeper crabs are really nice and big.
The ocean still hasn't opened up with Fluke just yet. Some guys are going out for sea bass and trying for Fluke, but nothing.
