7/15 Fishing report

One rental boat caught a 5 pound fluke in the bay. Check out the picture on capt Mikes Instagram. We had another boat bring in 4 more. We are seeing more blow fish. A lot of big rays in the bay do not leave your rod unattended. Crabbing is picking up should be better after the full moon just in time for the weekend. Weak fish on the rise on pink gulp.

Fishing report 6/21

Fishing in the bay remains steady with a lot of short fish being caught with some nice size keepers being mixed in front of the Fish factory. Crabbing has been picking up also but with all this rain that might slow up with all the fresh water running into the bay. please call first to see if we have minnows they have been difficult to get of late…

Happy National Fishing day

Over the past few day there have been some keepers caught in front of the fish factory and 126 and 127 along with ICW from 131 to 139. In the ocean a lot of smaller fish have been caught. There are still sea bass around. There has been plenty of bunker out there too. with that at anytime we could have a blitz of Striper along with some Blues. We are also starting to see more weakfish at he top of the tide.

Father’s Day Weekend

Looks like the next couple of days are going to be beautiful. Hopefully the weather holds up for Sunday. Not much to report fishing wise because nobody’s been out due to the weather. That means the Fish are waiting and ready to be caught

10 lb Flounder Caught

It has been windy but some people have been able to get out. There was a 10lb caugght earlier in the week in the clam stakes. Bill Barber caught a 5 pounder and to more keepers in front of the fish factory. markers 126 and 127 seem the best places to wet the line. Crabbing is on the upswing and will only get better. The Blow fish and King Fish starting to make an appearance in the bay. Plenty of rental boats available for the weekend!!!

Stripers are here!!

Guys have been drifting eels up in the river, while others are in the areas below Barnegat Light down thru the white tower snagging and dropping the bunker for some nice catches. Others are using umbrella rigs, spoons, etc…..
