Poor design of those lagoons with very little water flow causes these warm water low oxygen fish kills. It will keep happening as it has in the past.

It was always known as "the fish factory" as long as I can remember and that's from the '60's to this day

I thought it was a greenhead factory. 🪰

You can probably still see it from 7 bridges

The Stink House. As a kid growing up in Barnegat I remember the trains running north full of fertilizer.

When it was operational it was common to call it the stink house. My grandfather had a house on the bay in Beach Haven. There was no explanation needed when we had a Southern wind.

Heard there were many dangerous whirlpools out there be careful

Clear day you can see it from Oyster Creek restaurant.
